Getting There

• We will be inviting all out-of-town guests to join us at the rehearsal dinner on Friday, May 19.  If you are coming in town for the weekend, we encourage you to book flights to arrive on Friday and to book a room for both Friday, May 19 and Saturday, May 20. 
• New Orleans (MSY) is the closest airport and is located approximately 40 miles south of the hotel and wedding venue. However, flight schedules are still less than half of what they were before Katrina, and the wedding weekend is also Tulane's graduation weekend, so we'd encourage you to book a flight as soon as you find a suitable schedule and fare (and a hotel room; see below). Note also that Baton Rouge is only about 65 miles away from the wedding; it may currently offer a fuller flight schedule.

Hotel Information

• The nearest town with hotels is Covington; we recommend that you stay there.  We originally had a block of 80 rooms reserved at the Holiday Inn-Covington, but the Holiday Inn recently "suspended" that block.  Existing reservations will be honored, but they can not accept additional reservations at this time because they are still housing FEMA relief workers. This hotel and most other area hotels expect to be at 100% capacity for the forseeable future.  
• We have also secured an additional block of rooms at the Best Western Northpark Inn (adjacent to the Holiday Inn) at a group rate of $109/night.  To book rooms, you must call the hotel directly at 985-892-2681 or 877-766-6700 (ask for the Boccabella/LeBoeuf group rate)
• Other hotels in Covington include the Hampton Inn Covington (rooms available as of April 18), the Marriott Courtyard Covington (rooms available as of April 18), and the Comfort Inn and Suites.  These hotels have sporadically displayed availability for the wedding weekend. 
• If you wish to stay downtown in the French Quarter, we also have a block of rooms at the Ramada Inn on Bourbon Street (www.innonbourbon.com). This hotel is approximately 45 miles from the wedding and reception, but shuttle bus transportation is available (see below) to the rehearsal dinner (Friday) and wedding and reception (Saturday). To book your room at this hotel, call 800-535-7891 or 504-524-7611 and ask for the "Boccabella party" rate ($118-$152/night). If you already booked a room at the Holiday Inn-Covington and want to "switch" to the Bourbon Street hotel, contact Dan at dan@robynanddan.com so we can transfer your Holiday Inn reservation to another guest.
• We don't want a lack of rooms to keep people away!  E-mail dan@robynanddan.com if you are having trouble finding a room, and we will try to help you out!

Please Note:

• If you already booked a room at the Holiday Inn and cannot attend, please DO NOT cancel the room; contact Dan at dan@robynanddan.com and he will transfer the room to another guest. If you cancel the room, we will not be able to reallocate it to another guest!
• Even if you are staying downtown in the French Quarter, please book your room as soon as possible since May 20 is Tulane's graduation weekend and all of the hotels expect to sell out.  

Ground Transportation

• The most convenient and inexpensive way to get around is by using your personal automobile or a rental car.  If you need to reserve a rental car, you can use avis worldwide discount (AWD) code J868803 at Avis (www.avis.com / 1-800-331-1600).  Even if you have a car, you may still wish to consider using a shuttle as a "designated driver" for the wedding itself  -- see below for the details for your hotel.
• If you will not have a car, we recommend the Northshore Airport Express (985-386-3861) for the following services:
  • New Orleans Airport to/from the Covington Hotels - The cost is $50 one-way for the first person, $25 for each additional person.  You should call in advance to arrange this (985-386-3861; mention the Boccabella/LeBoeuf wedding).
  • Holiday Inn Covington to/from the Wedding and Reception - A shuttle bus will pick up at the Holiday Inn Covington at 6:30pm on Saturday, May 20.  The shuttle back to the hotel will leave after the reception, at approximately 12:30am.  We are providing this service at no charge. No official reservation is needed, but please email dan@robynanddan.com if you will be using this, so we can determine the number of buses to reserve.

   

  • New Orleans Airport to/from the French Quarter Hotels - The cost is $13 one-way.  You don't need to arrange this in advance; you can just stop by a desk in baggage claim.  You can also take a taxi.
  • Ramada Inn on Bourbon to/from the Rehearsal Dinner - A shuttle bus will depart the Ramada Inn at 5:00pm on Friday, May 19 to take guests to the rehearsal dinner.  You will return to the hotel at approximately 10:30pm.  The cost is $30 round-trip. You should call in advance to arrange this (985-386-3861; mention the Boccabella/LeBoeuf wedding).
  • Ramada Inn on Bourbon to/from the Wedding and Reception - The shuttle bus will depart the Ramada Inn at 5:00pm on Saturday, May 20 to take guests to the wedding.  The shuttle back to Bourbon will leave after the reception at approximately 12:45am. The cost is $30 round-trip. You should call in advance to arrange this (985-386-3861; mention the Boccabella/LeBoeuf wedding).
